I’ve spent years studying how technology changes who we become, and I've watched a room full of tired parents, tired workers, tired people, all exhale at the same time when someone finally says it's okay to put the phone down.

I'm a digital anthropologist, which just means I study how people change because of technology. I help people do less online and still feel just as fulfilled.

For years, I've used my understanding of digital culture and technology to help brands close the gap with the people they're trying to connect with. I ran qualitative research for Fortune 500 clients, worked as a copywriter for multiple ad agencies, and helped communities across Colombia improve how they learn using the SOLE methodology.

We keep adopting technology like it's automatically good for us, when really someone profits every time it disconnects us from ourselves and each other.
